Premier League predictions for Burnley vs Leicester

Burnley welcomes Leicester City at the Turf Moor in a game from the 23th round of the Premier League. In our English Premier League predictions we will have a look at this game, let’s go!

After four consecutive losses in the league, we can’t say other thing right now, but state the obvious – Burnley are in a pretty bad shape at the moment. Sean Dyche’s team are in crisis and this run of negative results made Burnley fall to 15th place in the standings. Right now they are just 3 points above the relegation zone.

Before the next game the manager Sean Dyche said that he’s still trying to bring the confidence back to his players. Burnley were actually doing well in the first few months of the season, but lately things are not working for them very well.

Against Leicester City on Sunday Burnley have a pretty full squad to use, but the exception is the Icelandic international Johann Gudmundsson, who is still injured.

Leicester City gave the second place in the previous round when the Foxes surprisingly lost against Southampton at home. Nobody really expected something like this to happen at the King Power, but the Saints played very well and took all of the points. Leicester actually opened the score with a goal from Dennis Praet, but the visitors prevailed at the end.

We guess this defeat will not cause any good to Leicester’s confidence right now, but eventually winning at the Turf Moor could do some work. It’s up to the manager Brendan Rodgers now to say the right words and do what he has to do in tactical aspect to beat Burnley on Sunday.

In our English Premier League predictions we can say we won’t be surprised if Leicester City find a way to fix their mistake against Southampton from the previous round. Burnley are in a pretty bad shape and it’s not a good moment for them to face a team as good as the Foxes.
